It didn't have a thermostat in it so I wanted to put in one and replace some cooling stuff. Well when I got the housing off, it was in such bad shape I decided to replace it. There is a BIG plastic tube connecting the air cleaner housing to the throttle body. Inside that big plastic tube is a smaller diameter tube that takes it from about 2 1/2 inches to about an inch remove that smaller tube, it may take some time to remove but the better air flow will make your stang perform so much better.
